Asylum Ventures is a new venture firm dedicated to the creative act of building companies. We raised $55 million to invest $1-2 million in early-stage founders.
We're seeking a Venture Analyst to join our team and help us identify, evaluate, and support the next generation of exceptional founders. This role is perfect for someone who is already deeply immersed in the startup ecosystem, whether formally or informally, and is passionate about the intersection of the art and science in business.

Key Responsibilities
- Deal Flow Management:
- Screen incoming pitches and investment opportunities
- Conduct initial assessments of potential investments
- Manage and optimize our deal pipeline
- Founder Network Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, scouts, and other interesting people in our target ecosystems and geographies
- Identify and reach out to promising current or future founders for potential investments
- Organize and participate in events to expand our network
- Due Diligence:
- Perform in-depth research on industries, markets, and companies
- Prepare investment memos and present findings to the partnership
- Portfolio Support:
- Assist portfolio companies with various needs, including introductions, research, and strategic advice
- Assist in the tracking of portfolio company progress and maintain up-to-date records
